When travelling by air, carry ampoules in hand luggage. Consult your airline in advance regarding new security regulations. Do not leave ampoules in your car (heat and cold).
The contents of ampoules does not tolerate high and low temperatures well. Therefore direct sunlight and frost should be avoided.

All anthroposophic mistletoe preparations (abnobaVISCUM, Helixor, Iscador, Iscucin, Isorel) can be stored at room temperature. The ampoules should be kept in the package, where it is dark, so that the content is not exposed to direct light, however. As the albuminous substances in the mistletoe extract are sensitive to heat, it is advisable to store mistletoe preparations in the refrigerator, but the temperature should not be too cold either (approx. 8 to 10 °C); the butter compartment or the crisper provides ideal conditions.
Extreme heat (near heating or in direct sunlight) should also be avoided, as should frost and cold temperatures below 4 °C. When travelling, packages containing ampoules should not be left in the glove compartment of your car . When travelling by air they should not be transported in checked luggage (temperatures drop considerably in the cargo section of the airplane during air travel).
All medicinal herbal preparations should be kept consistently cool during storage and transport. When bringing home Lektinol from the pharmacy, it should be transported in a cooler because the mistletoe lectins which it contains are sensitive to heat. Cefalektin and Eurixor can be carried in a handbag for a short time after they have been picked up from the pharmacy.
Ideally, mistletoe preparations should be stored in a dark, cool place, such as the crisper or butter compartment of the refrigerator.
